Waste water Treatment for anodizing aluminum and metal pickling

Oxipur units are based on a valid technology process with acid retarded resins, firstly for the anodizing of aluminum and the pickling of metals. It is possible to maintain a low level of aluminum in the water, thanks to removal of aluminum salts dissolved.

Plants with acid retardation resins, for the treatment and reuse of Anodic Oxidation or Acid Pickling bathes by the removal of aluminum salts dissolved.

Anodizing bathes containing:

  • H2SO4 ≥ 200 g/l
  • Al 12-15 g/l

An OXIPUR unit is a small, device that connects directly to an anodising tank, continuously removing Aluminum as it dissolved.
The heart of the OXIPUR unit, the resin column has the ability to absorb Sulfuric Acid while rejecting a solution of weakly acidic to waste. The acid can readily be recovered from the resin with a simple water wash.
OXIPUR unit has the flexibility to be connected to one tank or several tanks.

The efficiency of the OXIPUR acid recovery system is up to 98%

  • H2SO4             ≥ 120 g/l
  • HF ≥ 40 g/l
  • Fe2+/Fe3+ 50 g/l
