CIE designs a wide range of systems based on ultrafiltration membrane technology, obviously respecting the needs of customers and based on the type of chemical or bacterial elements that are to be removed from the water deriving from industrial processes.
UF systems perfectly clean water especially from suspended solids, turbidity and colloidal. Plants operating in the field of aluminum, cans and steel can use u.f. filtration technology obtaining really good results. The ultrafiltration process and the zld system allow a recovery of 50 per cent of the water, which can be reused without having to be discharged.
Above all, it must be to emphasized that CIE uses systems that are based on simple but absolutely efficient technology. Membrane ultrafiltration is a really valid and effective membrane separation technology for surface water treatment, for wastewater treatment plants.
Furthermore, the installation of the special membrane recovery systems, which exploit UF ultra filtration technology, allows recovery of the process water used on the finishing lines up to 75%.
CIE uses ultrafiltration plants to break down medium weight molecules, in order to obtain water with an adequate concentration and therefore a correctly filtered solution. For this reason CIE uses absolutely resistant and innovative membrane systems.
These systems are advantageous compared to those used in traditional systems, in fact they do not require the use of additional chemical agents to separate the pollutants from the water, and this obviously leads to a reduction in energy consumption.
